Introducing the Colnago V5Rs, the pinnacle of modern Italian racing bicycles—designed to dominate every kind of road. As the successor to the V4Rs, this all-rounder road bike is the result of an intensive development process in close collaboration with UAE Team Emirates, Tadej Pogačar, and Colnago’s advanced engineering team.

Pro-Level Performance

Engineered to perform at the highest level of professional cycling, the V5Rs is Colnago’s lightest frame ever, with significant improvements in aerodynamics, stiffness, and ride feel. The bike features refined tube shapes based on CFD analysis from the Colnago Y1 Project, including a 13% reduction in frontal area. A newly designed fork, a slimmer head tube, and deeper aero seat profiles deliver maximum efficiency at high speeds.

Lightweight & Functional Frame

Weight savings are achieved through a new carbon fibre layup, using precision manufacturing to reduce material without compromising strength. A key update is the introduction of a BSA threaded bottom bracket, which simplifies maintenance while contributing to the frame’s lower weight. Despite its lightweight design, the V5Rs maintains the legendary Real Riding Stiffness of the V4Rs—ensuring explosive power transfer and stability in racing conditions.

Optimised Geometry

Updated race geometry offers improved handling and responsiveness, with two fork rake options and refined angles for a more forward, aero-optimized position. It’s a true performance all-rounder, built to climb, sprint, and attack over cobblestones with equal confidence.
